301 Redirect

Here’s a simple task to boost search engine results: Search engines may think “www.rebeccasterner.com” and “rebeccasterner.com” are different sites. Set up a permanent redirect (a “301 redirect”) between these sites. It’ll result in getting more search engine recognition of your site.

From the MMPA Summit:  Liz Bredeson at  Meredith said they offer the flap on a bangtail envelope in bills and renewals to an advertiser.  Covers the costs of the BRE, hasn’t hurt response.  Liz suggests offers that don’t compete with magazine content.  Flap carries a “Special offer for [Magazine] Customers” slug.
